"C C" (a very special kitty!)

"CC (which stands for clinic cat) began his career at the NEVC in the early Fall of 1999. Not much is known about his early family history (he doesn't talk about it) but he came to us after being found in a garbage can. He had both a broken elbow and a dislocated hip-both of which had to be surgically repaired. As he recovered from his injuries he won the hearts of each and every staff member and thus became our official clinic mascot. He's no free-loader however. His official duties include upkeep of staff morale, early morning greeter, and official living paperweight.  In his spare time he enjoys napping with staff on their lunch breaks, knocking things off the desk, pushing the buttons on the phone while we make our return phone calls and entertaining the hospitalized patients. Oh, and he loves strawberries!"
